Middle Township Public Schools invites community members to a Town Hall to participate in the district’s strategic planning process. The meeting will be held at 6 p.m. on Nov. 11 at Middle Township High School, 300 E. Atlantic Ave.
The town hall will begin by acknowledging those who served in honor of Veterans Day.
The strategic plan, when finalized, will guide MTPS’s priorities over the next five years. The district is already gathering input from parents, staff and community members through a survey called a SWOT (“Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, and Threats”) analysis. Community members can still complete the survey.
The analysis is producing valuable insights that will be discussed at the Town Hall and used to shape goals and actions for a 2025-2030 strategic plan.
“We welcome the community to play a meaningful role in district planning,” said Superintendent of Schools Stephanie DeRose. “The Town Hall offers an ideal opportunity to discuss our shared priorities and determine the next steps for Middle Township Public Schools. We look forward to hearing community members’ thoughts on how MTPS can best serve our students.”
MTPS’s last strategic plan spanned 2020-2025 and prioritized increased technology across the district and support for elevating extracurricular programming.
