Jack’s rally felt like a comeback, but it wasn’t. He went from 63% to 59% while Democrats picked up more than 3,000 votes. There was no ground game and no real effort. I'm pretty sure my door wasn't even knocked on. I feel sorry for Jack. Cape May’s GOP used to be strong, now it’s soft and full of people who care more about showing off than winning. Was it just me, or did the local leader act more like it was about them and not the party? It feels like they want attention, not results. Until Republicans start talking to voters again, we’ll keep losing ground one quiet election
