So the Boro rented out a government meeting room for $25, and now we’re supposed to believe that tiny fee somehow creates a binding lease the town can’t break? Let’s be clear: an illegal contract is unenforceable, and the cost of doing nothing could be far greater than $25 if another incident occurs. Safety and integrity in government aren’t optional line items, they’re the foundation of public trust.
