I believe it is time for tranparency in our offices of code enforcement and building & zoning. The fact that so much new construction is being done I would ask that these dept begin accounting for their paychecks I have called several times left messages to no avail As a taxpayer I am entitled to ask how these public officials spend their day and my money supposedly doing their jobs. There are many houses in this area being renovated and enlarged with no permits being shown on the properties These are all violations of existing codes Permit fees add money to the city coffers lowering taxes
