Why is Upper getting a new chain hard ware store? It will certainly hurt the locally owned hardware store literally down the street. Why are we developing lots, cutting down trees, when there are numerous dilapidated/run down lots and abandoned businesses already here, scattered throughout town. Why develop when our established “town center” is already a failing eyesore . And this probably won’t make our school taxes go down. So what is even the point?
