A Spook-Tacular Halloween in the Wildwoods

The Wildwoods – Fall in the Wildwoods wouldn’t be complete without spook-tacular Halloween festivities for the whole family to enjoy. Here are the free events you can expect on the islands, hosted on October 25th and October 31st:

North Wildwood Trunk-or-Treat Halloween Block Party

When: Saturday, October 25th, 5:30 – 8 p.m.

Where: Olde New Jersey Avenue in North Wildwood.

This event includes music, magic, balloon twisting and more. Families are encouraged to bring their vehicles decorated for Halloween. Children will come in costume and visit each car where families will provide treats from the trunks of their cars. There will be no judging of the children’s Halloween costumes, but prizes will be awarded to the best decorated vehicles. Registration is free and forms are available at 900 Central Avenue in North Wildwood, at City Hall, or by emailing nwrec@northwildwood.com. All vehicles participating in the event must be registered. Greater Wildwood Elks Halloween Haunted House

When: Saturday, October 25th, 5:30 – 8 p.m.

Where: Greater Wildwoods Elks Lodge #1896, 109 West 1st Ave in North Wildwood

Trick-or-treaters of all ages can walk through a “Haunted House” experience, navigating themed rooms and receiving festive treats along the way. For more information, visit www.elks1896.com

October 31 – Byrne Community Center Haunted Gym

When: Friday, October 31, 5 – 9 p.m.

Where: J. Byrne Community Center, 406 W Youngs Ave, Wildwood
