As a longtime resident of Cape May, I find the common practice of pedestrians walking in the street instead of on sidewalks both annoying and dangerous. There are sidewalks on every street in Cape May. Why do people choose to walk in the middle of the street? Cape May Police should issue tickets and fines. Someone is going to be hit by a car or killed because of these inconsiderate lazy people.
