The State of New Jersey closed 6 coal electric generation plants and a nuclear power plant. NJ also rejected a plan to install a natural gas pipeline to produce more electricity. As a result, electric rates have gone up over 50%. Now the same Democratic Machine that caused the problem is campaigning to reduce these rate increases.
