As of right now the CDC has decided to table taking away hepatitis B vaccine recommendations. If they do decide to remove those recommendations it would mean that babies who are born to mothers who abuse drugs and other things ,who are under Medicaid, the babies that may need it the most won’t be covered. Parents already have the right to decline the vaccine after making an educated decision, they can also choose their own vaccine schedule too, granted up till they start school and even then they have options.
