Was on the Crest beach this weekend. Beautiful beach day and decent crowd (car show, Irish weekend). I counted 7 people out with their dogs. 5 of those were unleashed. One very responsible owner had her Great Dane leashed AND muzzled. Regarding the unleashed ones- if your dog gets attacked by another unleashed dog, you will not have any legal standing. You can’t argue the aggressor’s owner didn’t have his dog under control, because neither did you. The law doesn’t say only big dogs need to be leashed. ALL do.
