What is with this talk about making the entire island the same slow speed? It's a terrible idea. Do they mean just for the season? It would be inconvenient and pointless for the other 8 months out the year. Is there a reason other than just they think it makes sense? Has there been a recent spike in accidents? How many pedestrians and bikes were hit by cars this year? Why should Seashore Rd. be the same as Ocean St? They are completely different situations. It sounds like a solution looking for a problem. How about drivers, pedestrians and bike riders just follow existing the rules.
