The former CFO, Jim Craft, advised the A&F Committee (Gensemer, Moore & Dallahan) of the impact a paid fire department would have on the budget - the council - under the advisement of the A&F Committee - moved forward and implemented a paid fire company and a revised stipend for volunteers. The new CFO, Cynthia Lyndsey, is advising the council that the paid fire department is depleting the budget restraints in place by the State of NJ. How much clearer can it be??? Eliminate the paid fire department!!! Ms. Lyndsey stated this in the budget presentation and again at the 8/5 council meeting
