For a town in the top 100 richest towns in America, and ranked single digit for most expensive real estate, you would think there is enough revenue to continue to allow the very few non-profits and churches to remain 'exempt' from utility bill (water). These establishments were able to operate in town for 60+ years because the Borough made it possible. No written explanation or heads-up, town sent water bills. I get it, everyone has to pay their fair share. Like the affordable housing mandate the town continues to evade, these community staples are no longer welcomed in Stone Harbor.
