Death Camp Survivor to Speak in Wildwood

Bestselling author Tova Friedman will speak in Wildwood Aug. 17 about her experiences at the World War II Auschwitz-Birkenau death camps.

WILDWOOD — One of the youngest living survivors of the Holocaust will speak at a free event Sunday, Aug. 17, at 4 p.m. at Beth Judah Temple.

Tova Friedman, author of the bestseller “The Daughter of Auschwitz,” will share her vivid memories of the death camps at Auschwitz-Birkenau and speak out against extremism and violence. Her recent book has been on The New York Times bestseller list.

Reservations to attend are required, due to limited seating. RSVP by calling 609-522-7541 or emailing BethJudahTemple@yahoo.com. The temple is at 3912 Pacific Ave. in Wildwood.

The event is supported by the Stockton University Sara and Sam Schoffer Holocaust Resource Center, the Jewish Leadership Council of Atlantic and Cape May Counties, and the Jewish Federation of Atlantic and Cape May Counties.
