Indictments Filed July 15

Readers are reminded that not only are all individuals listed below presumed innocent unless proven guilty, there may also be multiple individuals who share the same name, even in the same town.

COURT HOUSE – A Cape May County grand jury handed up 17 indictments on July 15. 

The abbreviation CDS below stands for controlled dangerous substance.  A “certain person” charge can be brought against individuals whose previous convictions bar them from having weapons. 

Carly W. Singley and Arturio Fleuristal were named in a four-count indictment in which each was indicted on two counts. Singley faces a second-degree count for eluding police in a vehicle and a fourth-degree count for operating a motor vehicle while under a second license suspension. Fleuristal was indicted on two counts of third-degree hindering apprehension and obstructing the administration of law.

Joshua M. Olsen was indicted on a single charge of endangering the welfare of a child in the second degree.

Mark D. Bednar faces a single count of fourth-degree criminal trespass in Lower Township in May.

Tyler M. Meehan, Christopher W. Lillemon and Kevin M. Mulholland were individually and independently indicted for third-degree possession of a CDS. The substances were for Meehan, cocaine, for Lillemon, buprenorphine, and for Mulholland, methamphetamine.

Floriberto Santiago was indicted for operating a motor vehicle during a license suspension, fourth degree.

Alexander W. Fedyna was named in a single-count indictment for possession of a prohibited weapon, a switchblade knife.

Dennis K. Wyatt Jr. faces a six-count indictment, with two third-degree counts of possession of a weapon for unlawful purpose and two fourth-degree counts for unlawful possession of a weapon, along with second-degree aggravated assault and fourth-degree certain person. The weapons were a knife and a golf club. Wyatt was convicted in 2009 of aggravated assault, leading to the certain person count.

Anthony S. Cline was named in a four-count indictment: second-degree arson and two counts of second-degree attempted arson. The final count was for certain person in the fourth degree. Cline was in possession of a knife after previously being convicted of burglary in 1984 in Washington State.

Hector E. Fernandez-Montalvo was indicted on four counts, two in the third degree for making terroristic threats and possession of a weapon for unlawful purpose, a baseball bat. The remaining two counts were for unlawful possession of a weapon and certain person, both in the fourth degree. Fernandez-Montalvo was previously convicted of homicide, but no date was provide in the indictment.

Craig M. Hantson faces a count of third-degree theft by deception related to an incident in Ocean City in September 2024.

Windell L. Mckenzie was indicted for third-degree theft and fourth-degree criminal trespass.

Jhefry J. Diaz-Sander faces two third-degree counts, for theft and conspiracy with an unindicted co-conspirator.

Raymond Stacy was indicted on three counts, second-degree aggravated assault and two third-degree counts, of domestic violence aggravated assault and criminal trespass.

Denis Hernandez-Zunica faces a second-degree count for eluding police in Lower Township.

Ricard E. Palko was indicted for third-degree possession of a CDS, hydrocodone, and fourth-degree hindering apprehension.
