Hey There! I hope everyone is recovering well from their Fourth of July celebrations. I know I enjoyed the time off. I always love the overabundance of fireworks. That being said, that is definitely a weekend where people love to go out and let loose.

So I went back to an old favorite of mine: The Wharf in Wildwood. This place is another example of taking advantage of what and where we are. They have multiple different experiences depending on how you are feeling. I personally love sitting outside on the back deck. I love being able to listen to the music while looking out over the marshland.

They have a great awning that covers most of the deck outside, so there is plenty of shade to enjoy the nice weather. I treated myself to a beautiful summer salad off their menu. All fresh berries with goat cheese and a bright poppyseed vinaigrette dressing. I also grabbed a plain pizza to snack on. The menu overall had a nice selection between seafood, sandwiches, and tacos. Inside in the dining room they have a slightly more upscale menu, that is a little more seafood- heavy.

This year, I noticed they have a newer experience. They have a cute food truck with a whole beach bar set up for you to enjoy a different vibe. The food is simple handhelds and snacks. They have a great selection of drinks down there as well. I will be spending more time at the beach bar this summer! Check it all out at www.thewharfnj.com

I am so excited to tell you about the sweet duo I saw! You can find them every Tuesday night at The Wharf. They are so much fun, and they have a great range of covers they do. I was truly entertained the whole time. Tyler and Rachel feel like the kids you’ve always wanted to be friends with, and the cool kid vibe. Rachel has this deep, soulful rich sound to her voice. She’s not your average cover artist. Tyler also has an independence to the way he accompanies Rachel. He’s not just recreating someone else’s music. He has his own flair and signature to the way he plays.

I really enjoyed the way they were able to weave in and out of different genres and decades. They each melted together in such a fluid way and sounded perfectly fit to the whole set list. I was pleasantly surprised by the little party I had on a Tuesday evening.

Make sure you check out Rachel and Tyler’s social media accounts to see where else they can be found. You are not going to want to miss them! https://linktr.ee/rachelandtyacoustics
