SEA ISLE CITY – Mayor Leonard Desiderio told Council members, at their April 27 meeting, that he and Freeholder Will Morey are chairing efforts to establish an effective plan to reopen the local economy for summer.
“Although the governor has not yet announced a firm date, we are weeks away not months from our drive to reopen,” Desiderio said. “Economic health equals public health, and we are taking no chances. We are carefully preparing, and we’re nearly there, and we’ll be ready.”
