TUCKAHOE— Firefighters were called to the scene of a boat fire here at Yank Marina on Mosquito Landing Road at around 3:15 p.m. on Tuesday, Dec 22.
The fire started on the lower deck of a commercial vessel in dry dock, according to fire officials.
The Tuckahoe and Marmora Fire Departments responded to the scene with the Upper Township Rescue Squad.
The fire was placed under control at 4:20 p.m., at 5:02 p.m. fire command reported they were still on scene overhauling and expected to remain on scene for another hour.
The fire is under investigation by the Cape May County Fire Marshal.
