The statistics do not lie: The slower we drive, the better the chance that a pedestrian or bicyclist will survive a crash with an automobile. When our municipalities, the county, and state have a chance to lower speed limits in a town, these statistics should guide their choices. The percentages in the image are from actual traffic crash data.
