YOUSCHAK, RICHARD S.
Richard S. Youschak Sr., 92, passed away on March 24, 2025. Born and raised in Garfield, NJ, he was the son of the late Stephen and Marie Youschak.
Richard was a devoted husband to his beloved wife, Enni (Ann), who tragically passed at the young age of 40. Left to raise their five children alone, he embraced the challenge with
unwavering love and dedication. His children, Cynthia Andrew (married to Ralph Andrew), the late Richard Youschak Jr., Adam Youschak, Kim Youschak-Wisdom (married to Mark Wisdom), and Pamela Youschak, were the heart of his world.
A proud grandfather, Richard was blessed with eleven grandchildren Ralph Andrew, Adam Andrew, Eric Youschak, Kaci Youschak, Brianna Knights, Christopher Hermosillo, Stephen Hermosillo, Caitlyn Redenius, Chad Baker, Brianna Sitterson, and Richard Youschak III as well as three cherished great-grandchildren, Rileigh Hermosillo, Priya Andrew, and Ryland Redenius.
Richard's entrepreneurial spirit emerged at a young age when he managed two newspaper routes as a teenager. After serving his country in the Army, he embarked on a remarkable journey in business. He first purchased a grocery store and soon after turned his focus to real estate, acquiring properties in North Wildwood. His vision and determination led him to develop a series of successful motels, starting with the Pelican and continuing with the Malibu, Mali Kai, Surf Song, and finally, his crowning achievement, Montego Bay.
Beyond his business ventures, Richard was a proud and dedicated Mason, embodying the values of integrity, service, and brotherhood. His legacy is one of resilience, ambition, and love for his family.
Richard's impact on his family, friends, and community will be deeply missed but never
forgotten. His memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.
Celebration of Life will be held May 31, 2025, 1:00-4:00 PM, at Montego Bay Resort located in North Wildwood, NJ.
