To the Editor:
I’ve often heard my friends in Cape May talk about how much it saddens them that our young people typically go off to college and don’t return to Cape May County to live and work. We talk about the need to give our young people a reason to see Cape May County as more than a place to retire to or for vacation.
The options for young people to stay are made more possible when they see their peers working and raising their families in Cape May. Danielle Davies and Greg Wall have the stories of that kind of young person and both are running for county freeholder positions.
Both Davies and Wall have returned to Cape May County with a conscious commitment to live and work here and to make Cape May County the attractive and vibrant community that other young people want to come back to after college. Davies received her Bachelor’s degree from Villanova University in Pennsylvania and after living in San Francisco returned to Cape May where with her husband is raising her two children. Wall received his Master’s in Terrorism, Security, and Society from King’s College in London before returning to his roots in Cape May.
I am excited to imagine fresh leadership with a renewed passion and energy to work on behalf of what is best for Cape May County.
Cape May – Governor Murphy says he doesn't know anything about the drones and doesn't know what they are doing but he does know that they are not dangerous. Does anyone feel better now?
