Re: Officer Helping Motorist

By Marilyn Mastalski, Cold Spring

To the Editor:

I just want to give some recognition to a female police officer.

She stopped to help a senior gentleman who lost his load of plywood out of his SUV at Seashoreand Townbankroads. She helped him load every single piece of plywood back into his vehicle and then directed him where to go to secure the wood.

Police get so much bad press lately. They need to be recognized for their kindness, too.
