To the Editor:
I see where Cape May County is opposing offshore wind projects. I wonder if any of the commissioners have been to Europe (Norway, Spain, Portugal, Iceland) to see the benefit of wind turbines. Electric bills are minimal. Homes are all electric heat and AC with minimal cost.
I also wonder if the monopoly-run energy providers are backing the opposition. They stand to lose a lot of money.
I sincerely doubt tourists will stop coming due to the far sight of offshore wind projects.
It was very biased reporting in The Wrap that the Herald published. There has to be some benefit to wind turbines if so many other countries have them.
