Housing Solution Needed

By Joe Murphy, North Cape May

To the Editor:
The current pandemic virus points out weaknesses in our support systems. We needed temporary hospitals so they were built. Now we can see the impact on homeless families and veterans.
There are spaces available that can be converted into temporary housing. Such as vacant office buildings and storage facilities ready for conversion.
As religious schools’ interest fades there are vacant schools that also could be used. It is just a matter of stepping up to the plate and donating these structures to be utilized.
Donations are tax-deductible. Put buildings and faith to use.
