Would you Wifi?

By Jack Fichter

CAPE MAY POINT — Both Cape May and Cape May Point are investigating offering wireless Internet service (WiFi) to its residents. Cape May Point Commissioner Joe Nietubicz said the service would cost $15 to $20 per month. He said the Point would need eight transmitters, mounted on light poles at a cost of about $3,000 each. Residents in both Cape May and Cape May Point will receive a survey with their tax bills seeking to gauge their interest.
