The annual Mr. Wildwood Catholic Scholarship Pageant and Prom Fashion Show was held in the school auditorium March 9.
Fourteen boys competed in formalwear, casual wear, swimwear, talent and question rounds before a panel of judges.
Senior girls modeled the latest prom fashions from Rissy Roo’s and Shore Couture.
The 2009 Mr. Wildwood contestants were Sam Accardi, Aaron Cowan, Peter Dal Santo, Mark Gose, Alex Knowles, JP Linnington, Nic Long, Jake McKenna, Billy Moore, MJ Nestor, Dolan Ott, Kyle Raucci, McKenzey Scott, and Mike Walsh.
MJ Nestor was crowned Mr. Wildwood Catholic. Billy Moore was first runner-up and Kyle Raucci was second runner-up.
Nic Long won the People’s Choice Award, and Billy Moore was deemed Mr. Congeniality.
MJ Nestor and McKenzey Scott tied for first place in the casual wear category, and Mike Walsh and McKenzey Scott tied for first place in the swimwear round.
MJ Nestor won the talent round, and Aaron Cowan and Dolan Ott tied for first place in the question round.
