NORTH WILDWOOD – The Tri the Wildwoods Triathlon will be taking place Aug. 29. Detours will be set up in the north end of the City of North Wildwood starting at 4 a.m. The triathlon starts at 6:30 a.m. with detours expected to be in place until approximately 10:30 a.m. North Wildwood Police Officers will be assigned to traffic posts throughout the route to assist motorists.
Expect road closures northbound and westbound on the following streets: JFK Beach Drive, 2nd Av., Surf Av., 1st Av., Central Av. and Anglesea Drive. Spruce Av. (Rt. 147) will have lanes open for vehicular traffic off and on of the island across the Beach Creek Bridge.
No parking will be in effect on Saturday morning in the following areas: Anglesea Drive from Allen Drive to Spruce Av. (Rt. 147), Anglesea Drive from New York Av. to Pine Av. and Spruce Av. from Olde New Jersey Av. to New York Av.
