Bridge Repairs on Ocean Drive, Cold Spring Will Slow Traffic, Police Advise

COLD SPRING – Work began May 20 on the Upper Thorofare Bridge on Ocean Drive in Cold Spring.  Work will be conducted from 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., Monday through Thursday and traffic will be returned to normal condition prior to noon on May 24, for the holiday weekend.
According to a release from Lower Township Police Department, once the work on the Upper Thorofare Bridge is complete, work will begin on the Mill Creek Bridge.  
The project is expected to be completed prior to the end of June.
Motorists should expect delays during this project and seek an alternate route to save time.
