So much to do. Start with On Deck

By Carolyn Mee

My neighbor has a theory that once Fourth of July fireworks are over, it’s barely a minute before Labor Day. He’s right. All the more reason to read On Deck cover to cover and find out all the neat things you can do in Cape May County before the season’s gone.
But let me tell you, you’re going to have a hard time choosing. The later it gets, the more events pack the What’s On Deck calendar.
For instance, it’s Christmas in July in the Wildwoods. And it’s nighttime in Venice in Ocean City. You can step back to the 19th Century in Cold Spring or the 18th Century at the county museum.
Go fish. Carolyn Miller’s fishers are reeling them in and she has loads of photos to prove it.
Maureen Cawley tells how you can compete in a surfing contest while helping a local toddler.
And there’s cycling, chamber music, a sunset cruise, and a chance to be in movies.
So much to do, so little time (there’s lots of wisdom in clichés, don’t you think?).
So hurry!
Read. Choose. Do.
And we’ll see you here next week with even more.
