SEA ISLE CITY – Mayor Leonard Desiderio announced at the city’s Dec. 13 council meeting that Sea Isle City will participate in a county pilot project to share services for mitigation and removal of snow and ice using the town’s equipment.
“We already have the trucks and other equipment and we’ll be reimbursed at $150/hour/truck for taking care of county roads within Sea Isle like JFK Blvd. and Landis Ave. Four municipalities are involved and I’m confident this winter this shared services agreement will result in great work,” said Desiderio.
