LoBiondo Reacts to President’s Address on Financial Crisis

By Herald Staff

WASHINGTON, D.C. – U.S. Rep. Frank A. LoBiondo (R-2nd) issued the following statement in response to President Bush’s address Wendesday, Sept. 24 about the current financial crisis facing the country and the legislation being crafted on Capitol Hill:
“I have heard from hundreds of South Jersey residents in the past few days who share many of the same deep and legitimate concerns I do. From briefings I have received, a compromise is far from being reached and even further from receiving my support. Any action Congress takes must have a real positive impact on main streets across South Jersey – and the hardworking individuals and families who live and work there. This will be my first and foremost focus when casting my vote.”
