OCEAN VIEW — First District Republican Sen.Nick Asselta (R-1st) and his two Assembly running mates, Norris Clark and Michael Donohue, will hold a press conference today at 1 p.m. at the Ocean View Service Area on the Garden State Parkway.
At that time they will call on Assemblymen Jeff Van Drew and Nelson Albano (Both D-1st) to “tell the truth about their support for plans to sell New Jersey’s toll roads. Specifically, they will respond to false statements contained in a campaign flyer produced for the Van Drew/Albano campaign,” according to a release from the Republican trio.
Van Drew is challenging Asselta for the First District Senate seat in the November election.
