COURT HOUSE — Freeholder candidates will face off in the Historic Courthouse on North Main Street, Monday, Oct. 29 at 7 p.m. in a debate hosted by the League of Women Voters of Cape May County.
Members of the public will be allowed to directly ask questions that the candidates will answer, unlike last week’s debate between First District Legislative candidates at the Performing Arts Center when questions had to be asked in advance via e-mail.
In Monday’s debate, Republican incumbents Gerald Thornton and Ralph Bakley Sr. and Democrat challengers Stephen Bacher and Robert Jackson will verbally spar on how they would guide county government as members of the five-member Board of Chosen Freeholders.
Cape May – Governor Murphy says he doesn't know anything about the drones and doesn't know what they are doing but he does know that they are not dangerous. Does anyone feel better now?
