Democrats Open Local Office

By Jack Fichter

The Cape May County Democratic Organization has opened its headquarters for this campaign season.
“This is such an exciting election. So many people want to help. We are fortunate to have a headquarters staffed by so many dedicated volunteers said County Chairman Jim Pickering. “People believe that this is the year for change in America and right here in Cape May County.”
The headquarters is located on 927 Court House – South Dennis Road in South Dennis, just south of the Southville Corner Diner. The Headquarters began operation October 3 and will continue seven days a week from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. through election day, Nov 4.
Area women and men have pledged to get out the vote for Presidential Candidate Barack Obama, Vice Presidential candidate Joe Biden as well as Congressional candidate Dave Kurkowski and county candidate George Hallet. In addition, the headquarters will be supporting local township Democratic candidates.
Lawn signs, bumper stickers, T-shirts, and other campaign materials are available. For more information or to volunteer, call 609 861 0177 or go to www.capemaycountydems.com
