MILLVILLE — The Constitution Party of NJ June 6 announced that inventor and business owner, Peter F. Boyce, has officially filed to run for the U.S. Congress in New Jersey’s Second Congressional District against Republican incumbent Frank LoBiondo.
“On the local level, individual Republican and Democratic leaders earnestly endeavor to serve their communities. However, on the national level, for too long, we have had a ‘one party system’ with two faces … each face speaking different rhetoric, but following the same agenda of ignoring the Constitutional limitations to their power. In so doing, they are eroding our freedom, bankrupting America, and endangering our national security,” Boyce said in a prepared release.
Forty years ago, Peter moved to Cape May County, according to a release. He worked as a commercial fisherman, newspaper delivery man, newspaper advertising salesman, builder, real estate broker, hotel-motel owner/operator, restaurateur, printer, poet, publisher and radio talk show host for a show called God and Country Call-In Talk Show, the release states.
Boyce is the inventor of a patented Ocean Wave Energy Converting Electric Power Plant/Erosion Reversal System and Electric Self-Charging Ship. He has been the proprietor of Delmont Sawmill in Cumberland County for 27 years.
He has been politically active for over 20 years. His efforts have been focused on motivating legislators to safeguard national security, to secure America’s energy self-sufficiency, and to reduce taxes by honoring their solemn oath to our sacred Constitution (which limits their expenditures to only that which is constitutionally authorized).
Boyce said he is not beholden to either Republican or Democrat party bosses.
“My boss is a ‘Jewish Carpenter’ Who is very fussy about such things as one’s fidelity to solemn oaths,” he stated in a release.
He also announced his view that Congress must declare war for us to send soldiers abroad to fight.
“Regardless of the reason, it’s shameful for the Republicans and Democrats in Congress to send our soldiers to fight in foreign lands without the full commitment of our Congress behind them with a Declaration of War, which is required by our Constitution.”
With the rising cost of fuel affecting all aspects of life, Boyce would also immediately sign as a co-sponsor of HR2415, The Affordable Gas Price Act, a bill which would give immediate relief at the pump and permit environmentally-responsible harvesting of our own natural resources, the release stated..
