North Wildwood Beach Patrol Chief Tony Cavalier announced today that the North Wildwood beaches will remain guarded through Labor Day Weekend, and through the latter part of September.
Cavalier announced that during Labor Day weekend, Aug. 30 through Sept. 1, there will be 20 manned lifeguard stands on the North Wildwood beaches. There will be lifeguards at selected beaches during the weeks after Labor Day weekend, through Sept. 21. After Labor Day weekend, guards will be on duty on three to five beaches on weekdays; guards will be on duty on 10 beaches during the weekends. Call the North Wildwood Beach Patrol at 609- 522-7500 for locations, as they may vary during the month of September.
