Minimum Wage Hike to Increase Tram Car Cost

State Wage Increase Hikes Tram Car Prices

By Other News Source

WILDWOOD – Those looking to enjoy a tram car ride on the Wildwoods Boardwalk this year can do so, but at a higher cost.
According to published reports, the non-profit organization that operates the Sightseer Tram Cars is raising the price of one-way rides from $3.50 to $4, due to the state minimum wage increase. Another cause of the rise in fares is due to tax exemptions for amusement businesses no longer being available.
