The fifth annual Greater Wildwood Chamber of Commerce Fabulous ‘50s Weekend, Oct. 17-19, is a celebration of Wildwood’s unique role in music history.
The centerpiece of weekend is The Fabulous ’50s Show on Saturday, Oct. 18 7 p.m. inside the Wildwoods Convention Center featuring:
Gary U.S. Bonds
Ben E King
Terry Johnson’s Flamingos
The Del Vikings
The Mahoney Brothers
Event Schedule
Friday, Oct. 17
Fabulous ’50s Record Hop. $10 per person plus tax
7-11 p.m., Wildwood Convention Center, 4500 Boardwalk, hosted by Jerry (The Geator) Blavat. An evening of classic music, food, cocktails and more kicks off the weekend.
Saturday, Oct. 18
Fabulous ’50s free Street Fair
10 a.m.-5 p.m., Fox Park at Wildwood Convention Center. Featuring live entertainment with The Mahoney Brothers, Love Affair, and Stan Zizka’s Del Satins. Food and merchandise vendors, contest and a classic car show.
Saturday, October 18
Fabulous ’50s Concert. $45 per person plus tax
7 p.m. Wildwood Convention Center
Doors open at 6 p.m.
Sunday, Oct. 19
Fabulous ’50s Super Sunday
noon-2 p.m., Second and Olde New Jersey avenues, North Wildwood
End this Fabulous ’50s Weekend with one last opportunity to enjoy the sounds of the ’50s: featuring The Mahoney Brothers and Love Affair.
Tickets are only available through the Greater Wildwood Chamber of Commerce or participating hotels, motels, condos and inns.
