Jazz Vespers returns

By On Deck Staff

On Sunday, March 15 at 3 p.m., the First Presbyterian Church, Hughes and Decatur streets, Cape May will present Jazz Vespers.
Returning to the Vespers stage will be the ever-surprising and thoroughly entertaining jazz keyboardist George Genna (and Friends).
Genna’s great talent, extremely broad repertoire, and penchant for presenting wonderful “lost” jazz masterpieces make for a delightful musical event.
On Sunday, April 19 at 3 p.m., the concert series will feature veteran jazz keyboardist Irv Mellman.
Mellman will be joined on stage by local legend, drummer Harry Himles, as well as other top regional players.
Mellman’s years of experience playing with big bands makes for a delightful and exciting evening of jazz.
The venue is wheelchair accessible, limited free parking is available, and admission is free. A love offering is appreciated.
Call 609-884-0680 or go to capemayjazzvespers.com for more information.
