PETERSBURG – Upper Township Committee passed a resolution Jan. 28 honoring Nathaniel Young of Troop 95, Seaville, for achieving Eagle Scout. Young’s project was the completion of landscaping the front area of the Upper Township Rescue Squad building in Petersburg for ease of maintenance and beautification. Young cleared and leveled the area, built a raised, stone-wall garden around the digital sign, and filled it with topsoil, stone, and mums. He also landscaped the area around the flagpole with white stone and created a paver walkway leading to the flag pole. Young is the son of Bernadette and Daniel Young.
