Woodbine Applies for NJDOT Discretionary Aid Grant

WOODBINE – The Borough of Woodbine has made application to the New Jersey Department of Transportation discretionary aid grant funding in the amount of $282,729.87.
This applicationis for the second phase of the reconstruction of portions of Heilprin and Sumner Avenues.This will continue a project which was also funded by NJDOT in the amount of $397,000 and will complement an upcoming County project for the reconstruction of adjacent Webster Avenue.

“If successful this additional funding would allow the Borough to complete this portion of an ongoing and much-needed abatement project to correct the flooding problem in this area,” concluded Mayor Pikolycky.
