Will Property Flood?

PETERSBURG – Upper Township Engineer Paul Dietrich informed Upper Township Committee Dec. 17 that the township is making available, through a link on its website, a tidal flooding awareness questionnaire that would help flood-prone residents predict which areas will flood in the event of a storm.
“This is a county-regional initiative and will allow pre-forecasting for three different tidal stations and explain in layman’s terms meteorological nomenclature. It will reference the elevation of a particular residence and the property owner after filling in the prompts for information will have information of inundation in a particular area based on mapping,” explained Dietrich.
