WILDWOOD – Mayor Ernie Troiano declared that the new Public Works facility, at Oak and Schellenger avenues, would not be “fully operational” for six to eight months. He said he hopes Public Works will move into the building by summer 2020.
City Commissioners introduced an amendment Nov. 13 to finish funding the project. According to the amendment, “the costs of the Public Works building project will be higher than originally included in the ordinance.”
The amount would be increased by $2.6 million. Total appropriation stands at $4.5 million. In previous comments, Troiano said a new facility is necessary.
