By Camille Sailer

PETERSBURG – Committee member Hobart Young informed his Upper Township Committee peers that the municipality’s baseball team had requested that a Wi-Fi connection be run across the field to enable better security. “With the vandalism we’ve been seeing at our fields, and at Caldwell Park, the team would like to see how we can improve security. It sounds like the baseball team will pay for the equipment if the township undertakes installation. I understand the soccer team is also concerned,” said Young. Scott Morgan, Upper’s business administrator, will look into options.
