Trash Contract Renewed

WILDWOOD – City officials renewed the contract with Gold Medal Environmental, instead of pursuing an “in-house” trash pick-up program.
According to Mayor Ernie Troiano, an “in-house” trash pick-up program would not have been cost-effective.
Commissioners voted Sept. 11 to renew the contract. A special meeting was originally scheduled for Sept. 13 to discuss the matter, but was canceled.
