By Rachel Rogish

WILDWOOD CREST ─ A two-fold project will proceed at Sunset Lake, combining the stabilization project and recreational amenities into one. Under one contractor, the Borough of Wildwood Crest believes the project will proceed in a timely manner. Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) funding for stabilization ends December 2018, and Administrator Constance Mahon told residents March 7 the project will be completed by deadline. Stabilization includes habitat for shellfish and other wetland wildlife. Amenities include kayak launch, ADA access to dock, water fountains, and lighting.
