PETERSBURG – Upper Township Engineer Paul Dietrich told Upper Township Committee members Jan. 13 that long-awaited Strathmere improvements are on schedule, and will be completed soon.
“The pouring of concrete on Commonwealth Avenue will be done this week, and the grading and paving by the end of the month,” said Dietrich. “We also are expecting the delivery around mid-February of the two bulkheads we’ve been expecting, and these then will be installed, so we meet proper height requirements.
“We’ve been very fortunate with the mild weather, so we’re happy that these projects that Strathmere residents have been hoping for finally are nearing completion.”
