SIC’s Landis Avenue Speed to be Reduced

SEA ISLE CITY – The city council approved the introduction of an ordinance at its Sept. 27 meeting that makes speed limits on Landis Avenue consistent with other area signage. 
From the immediate northern boundary of the municipality up to 29th Street where 35 mph is indicated it now will be 25 mph. 
Heading south where 40 mph speed limits are indicated it now will be 35 mph. 
A second reading of the ordinance and an opportunity for public comment are slated for Oct. 25.
