SEA ISLE CITY – City Council approved a resolution for Sea Isle’s police department to accept the “New Jersey Interoperable Communications System” per a formal user agreement Sept. 27.
According to Mayor Leonard Desidero, “this is a $1 million contract that enables all first responders, police and fire department personnel to have the latest technology.”
The technology will be connected to local, county and state resources. Desiderio said he expects the equipment to benefit residents and visitors alike.
