SEA ISLE CITY – City Council passed a bond ordinance, on second reading, with no public comment, authorizing the use of capital surplus for various items at the April 14 meeting.
A twist to the adoption was that several members had challenges joining the meeting due to technical issues, and thus initially, there was no required majority quorum for bond approval. A quick canvassing by the city administration to call on landlines and make the necessary connections and the required majority was obtained.
